Artwork guide: Flip (2-3 Images) File Type: File Resolution: 300 ppi or higher @ final print size. Bleed: 3 mm Type and Font Guidelines: Avoid small and italic type styles as the lens renders them illegible, jagged edged or both. Design Hints: In order to achieve the optimum flip effect it is imperative to minimize the factors which cause one image to bleed through another, known as ghosting. Limiting your flip to just two images instead of three may provide a cleaner flip and will allow more on time" per image. Images which flip in a direction from top to bottom will normally display less ghosting than ones which flip from left to right, particularly for hand-held prints. Regions of high contrast between the component images are likely to display ghosting. Try to superimpose features such as faces in the different frames rather than having slight offsets so as to avoid the dark eyes of one face appearing in say the light forehead of the other. In other words, try to use elements which flip that are similar in shape and size and which do not contrast excessively with their background. Hard Copy: File Delivery: Site Map |
